We bestowed upon Evya the Super Duper Trouper Award, for walking and climbing with the family, step for step, the entire 3 weeks. We averaged over 11 kilometers of walking per day, and with the exception of 2 blocks in Istanbul where Tyrian carried her, she walked every other meter on her own.

Evya was quite taken by the beehive tombs on the site.

In appreciation of the accoustics, she performed an original song.

The previous tomb no longer had the top intact, but this was a more sonorous, complete beehive.

Epidaurus is known for its fabulous accoustics, which Christina tested center stage by exclaiming the ever-so-eloquent, "This is so cool!"

The limestone material of the seats provides a filtering effect by suppressing low frequencies in voices, minimizing background crowd noise.

The rows of limestone seats also reflect high frequencies back towards the audience.

And corrugations on the surface of the seats act as natural acoustic traps.
We marveled at the carved distinction between the seats, and the small ledges defining the walkway, in additions to the steps of the aisle. Superb attention to detail.
